Dr. Samir Deiratany brings over 30 years of international medical experience across eight countries to The French Clinic. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.

A Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (Paediatrics), Dr. Deiratany also serves as an examiner for both the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI).

He completed a clinical fellowship in Paediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Toronto, Canada and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Child Health from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

Dr. Deiratany has served as a Senior Consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine for over three decades, with a strong focus on clinical innovation. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in establishing paediatric emergency departments, allergy medicine services, and urgent care clinics across Ireland, UK and Qatar.

He has developed particular expertise in food allergies and anaphylaxis, notably during his tenure at the Royal Free Hospital and Evelina Hospital in London, UK.
