Psychomotor Therapy

Psychomotor Therapy is focused on interventions for infants, children, and adolescents presenting with a developmental delay, genetic syndrome, neuropathology, learning disorder, sensory modulation disorder, or mental health difficulties.  Guided by the child’s interest, our Psychomotor Therapist implements purposeful and motivating activities that enhance and develop the underlying skills necessary to complete functional tasks.  our Psychomotor Therapist’s interventions also include play therapy and drama techniques, providing support for the patient’s emotional well-being which has a direct effect on the psychomotor skills being addressed.
